My attempt at the Dragan Effect
I have been trying to figure out how to make my photos have that silver shiny look. Like in the movie 300 or The Book of Eli. At first I thought that they were just over exposed. I was so wrong. There's a lot of tweaking involved. I'm not even sure if I'm close. The tutorial from Tutcast was extremely helpful. Here's my first attempt. What do you think, is it close?

Coffee Run
I was able to get a shot in while running out for coffee to refuel. I'm sooo happy I brought my camera along just in case.

Shout Out
I've been super busy these last couple weeks with some online courses I'm taking right now. It's been difficult to take my camera out and do give you guys something new. I'm hoping next week will be better. I just need to get myself my organized.
I thought I would tell you about Vancouver Photo Workshops (VPW) in the mean time. I originally took a Photoshop weekend course because it was 2 blocks from my place and my work was paying for it. The instructor was Rachelle, she was great. The course has been unbelievably helpful. I gives you all the basics you need when your new to Photoshop. The program can be tricky enough and no one needs that kind of stress.
The next course I took with VPW is a 10 week basic photography course with Aura. Once again I was very happy with the course. They moved there location all the way across town and it didn't even bother me.
So if you're interested in getting a helping hand and taking a photography course I recommend checking out VPW.
